Market Flow

The project aims to revitalize  urban space of a central park in Volos by combining the two principle spaces of exchange the market Hall and the space of social Assembly. (Visible in our current modern society and traceable through history rendered by the Greek Agora).

The Economy of Exchange was exclusively studied,mapped and researched to extract the “Market Organizational principles” and deploy them into Architectural organizational principles.

An in depth study were made to understand and map the corner conditions in the Klein Market Halle and its rule in organization, which later translated into Surface Experiments acting as the design apparatus for Volos Project.
